unique date idea : Become Amateur Photographers

Becoming amateur photographers is a date idea that allows you and your date to explore the world of photography together.

The date can be as simple or complex as you want it to be, depending on how much time you want to spend together and what activities interest both of you. Some date ideas include: going for a walk with a camera, photographing each other’s favourite things, taking pictures at a festival, outdoor photo shoot etc. The idea is just to have fun experimenting while learning something new!

OK great but what about the logistics of being an amateur photographer? Here are some tips that will help make sure your date runs smoothly:

* Buy two cheap cameras so neither of you has extra pressure on their performance.  You can buy old film cameras relatively cheaply on eBay.

* Make sure you both have a quick walk through of the date’s logistics before you go out (expectations of date, meeting point etc.)

* Bring snacks and water if your date lasts longer than an hour or two, depending on how much time you want to spend together.  As well, bring some basic first-aid supplies in case anyone gets hurt.

* Be open to ideas – there is no right way to date someone!  Experiment with different ideas and see what works for you two together.

* Keep it simple – this date doesn’t have to be expensive.  The best date ideas are usually simplest ones that allow fun exploration!

It is important for date ideas to be unique so the date doesn’t get too boring. Here are some date ideas you can try out with your date(s):

– Go watch a play at any local theatres in your area (try saying that ten times fast!) – Go paintballing or laser tagging – Try acting like complete strangers in public and talk to each other like no one else is (this date will take serious acting skills on both date and dater’s parts) – Go to the zoo with your date(s) and take pictures of animals you see!
