Hi, I’m writing because my date and I recently had a hot cocoa tasting date and we’re planning on doing it again soon. This date is perfect for couples who love sweets but don’t want to go out and spend money at the movies or dinner.
* Location: This date can be done anywhere you wish! You can have it in your living room or even outside if the weather permits. To make things more interesting, take turns hosting this date! The first date can be at his/her house and the next time, host it at yours.*
*Preparations: Prepare as many hot cocoa’s as there are guests (If there is only one guest then prepare one cup of cocoa). Also prepare as much sugar as you think you’ll need and a whisk to stir everything together. If you want, you can prepare toppings such as mini marshmallows, whipped cream, and chopped up candy canes.*
*Material: Hot cocoa (of course), sugar, mini marshmallows*, whipped cream*, and chopped up candy canes*. *Optional [If your date doesn’t like these things then skip them.]*
*Also Optional: Music to set the mood for this date.*
*How It’s Done: With everyone gathered around with their cups of hot cocoa in hand, bring out the ingredients (sugar/mini-marshmallows/whipped cream etc.) and show each other what they are about to taste. Then all at once, put the ingredients into the hot cocoa and stir it all together. Next, dip your finger/spoon in and taste it. If you don’t like something you added then just pick it out with a spoon.*
*Guests: This date is best for two people but if you’re feeling adventurous, why not do it with more people? Just make sure that if there are three or more then everybody gets their own cup of cocoa. For one person, I’d recommend at least four different kinds of cocoa (it can go up to six).*
*Liked It?: Now comes the date part! Turn on some music (optional), sit down next to each other on the couch or chair, sip your hot cocoa while having small talk, and enjoy the date. If you liked it then I recommend doing it again soon!
*Did Not Like It?: Then just try out a different date idea next time.*
This date was created by me (Liz) and my date (Frank). The best part about this date is that there are endless possibilities for decorating your hot cocoa. There are also many other hot cocoa tasting date ideas on the web but we found them very boring so we mixed it up a little bit. Have fun on your date! Also, don’t forget to send us pictures if you do pay this date at home or in public!! We would love to see what you did with this date idea.
*Note: You should not copy this date idea or use it for your own date. You should only paste the link to this article.*
*Note: It is highly recommended that you do not drink/eat (cooking) if you are under the age of 13 without adult supervision. Also, please be responsible and don’t drink and drive!*
