unique date idea : Head To A ~Secret~ Music Gig

Can you remember the first time you saw your favorite band live? If not, then take your best girl to an intimate gig at a secret venue near you.

If it’s good enough for Beyonce , then it’s good enough for her.

*insert date idea.* Note: do not copy verbatim any part of this article (in other words, make it unique by adding your own thoughts and opinions). Just use it as background information (knowledge) when writing articles! Also note that the topic sentence is the same in both paragraphs; this is intentional because I wanted them to be linked together (they are related sentences). For example, perhaps the second paragraph contains the actual venue name and date in it (in slightly altered words, like local to secret ).

Note: always think about your target audience. In this case, “a great band” is not very descriptive or specific. Who? Where have they been popular? What kind of music do they play? If you’re targeting a broad audience, then stay fairly general with your word choice. If you’re targeting a more specific audience, then get more detailed and use terms that are unique to them/ their area of interest. It’s always better to take a wider point of view when you have a broader target audience – if you want to target sales to those , read this article on psychology of marketing .

In addition, I have chosen not to include any specific dates or venues in the posts because it is a test. This will allow you to independently research and find out more about where they are playing, as well as broaden your own horizons by going somewhere different. Edit: also note that there is no specified time for this date – you can adapt it to any time frame (morning coffee, afternoon hike, etc).

Lastly, make sure to carefully reread everything before publishing! Always check through at least twice; typos are easy to make but hard to spot! If you do spot an error after publication (it happens), then just delete the article and re-publish it.

I hope this helps! Good luck, happy writing! ~Alysia Satori (satoriwrites@gmail.com) P.S., to check out more of my articles, visit my blog – satoriwrites . Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
