unique date idea : Take A Photo Walk

If you’re looking for date ideas, a new hobby to pursue with your date, or just something fun and different from the typical date night plan of dinner and a movie, take a photo walk. All you need is a date and a camera (or your smartphone) to get started.

Photo walks are great date ideas because it gives both of you the chance to have fun together while being active. It can be difficult to find date activities that fit both people’s interests at the same time – but with a photo walk, this is not an issue. Photo walks work perfectly as first dates or even as fifty date nights – if either person becomes less interested along the way, they can simply stop going on the photo walks. If one person would like to date exclusively and the other doesn’t, they can date knowing that there’s no pressure for one person to wait around until the other is ready. Either way, photo walks are a great date idea because there is no time commitment!

There isn’t any need to stress yourself out trying to come up with date ideas – simply go on a photo walk and keep it light by looking for fun and unique things along the way or even stopping at a nearby coffee shop afterwards. Take as many photos as you want during your date and delete all of those photos except for  the few  you like best when you get home so you don’t have hundreds of random pictures cluttering up your camera roll or phone. If you’re not sure how to edit your photos afterwards, there are many free trial versions of photo editing programs you can download online.

To try out a date idea like this for yourself, pick a date night and head out on the town! Look for unique date spots around your city that would be perfect for taking pictures, but don’t think you have to go really far or spend lots of money either. You can visit one of your favorite restaurants (and maybe even get free dessert if the waiter likes it when you take photos of their restaurant), any landmarks in your area that may be difficult to see during the day (a park with beautiful lighting at sunset works well too!), or simply head downtown and snap some shots as you walk around.

Remember – no matter what date night you choose, the two of you will have a good time together. Whether or not one of you decides to go home early, there’s no pressure for either person to feel bad about themselves for going on a date that didn’t work out in the end! No date idea is perfect for everyone and it seems like every date has its ups and downs – but even if  you date has some bumps along the way, at least you can always take photos during your date to look back on when things get rough.

It worked out pretty well I think!  Keep in mind that this would just be an example – if you took a photo walk with a friend say, then it wouldn’t necessarily have to be a date. I’m not sure what date idea is the best for this, but it’s worth a shot!
