fun date idea : Play pinball and switch between balls

Do you like pinball? I love playing pinball with my date.

Have you ever played on a machine that has two separate balls in it, and both of the white plastic flippers right next to each other at the bottom, so players can switch between them if needed? It’s incredible. One time we were playing on one in Brooklyn and we were laughing about how in most co-op games (like Mario) there’s always some kind of mechanic for switching between characters. But here was just this pole stuck out from the bottom of the machine where we could just lean over and press a button to switch which ball was being controlled by which player. So then we acted it out: “I’m Mario, you’re Luigi. Let’s jump over this fireball together!” “No wait, I’m Mario! You can be Luigi! You always win anyways so you might as well sit this one out. Meow meow meow meow…I mean hahahahaha hahahaha hahaha!”

But if you do happen to find a two-player game with two side by side flippers at the bottom of it, I definitely recommend playing on that specific machine anyway. It really does make it more fun. Plus there are probably less people around that machine anyway because most date night couples wouldn’t pick that kind of pinball machine for their date.

Anyway, date night is about thinking of ideas for date activities. If you can think of something fun to do on date night, don’t be afraid to try it out! Most importantly just have a good time with your date.

The end.

Articles’ vs. Paragraphs’ vs. Sentences’ Usage Pro-Con Debate: Pros and Cons on Creating Articulate Narratives through Sentence Usage by Jelani Eddington published by The Odyssey Online (UCF) created as a formative assessment in a Digital Storytelling class exploring the effectiveness of digital storytelling through essays written via sentence usage, versus paragraphs versus articles…thought-provoking article illustrating the potential of sentence usage in everyday writing.

Strengths:

– Essays written via sentence usage are more concise allowing for the reader to be able to absorb information faster.

– There is a lack of overused/unnecessary words within sentences, therefore there is a greater chance of an essay being understood by someone who might not have English as their first language…greater potential audience base.

Weaknesses:

– Sentences are more difficult to read than paragraphs or articles because of their brevity and complexity which can make it seem like the content within them isn’t important.

– Because sentences are packed with complex wording, this prevents your target audience from comprehending information and potentially lowers the potential audience base. were laughing about how in most co-op games (like Mario) there’s always some kind of mechanic for switching between characters. It’s incredible. One time we were playing on one in Brooklyn and we thought it would be even more fun if we switched off who was Mario and Luigi every few seconds or so to make the coin collecting last longer (Mario always gets all the coins haha). The only problem was that there were a bunch of date night couples on the machine and we felt like such dweebs switching back and forth between balls while they just sat there watching us. They probably thought we were some kind of date night creeper or something, but it made it more fun. So I do recommend finding one of those 2-player machines with two flippers at the bottom if you can, and…
