Not only is this an out-there date idea, but it’s a great stress reliever too. There’s just something about throwing a heavy ax at a wooden target that just makes us forget about all our worries and lets us act as if we were on a one-on-one Bachelor date .
So, if you’re dating someone who seems to be uptight or stressed out about something — take them ax throwing. It doesn’t matter what they do for work, their job isn’t nearly as stressful as the task of trying to hit the bullseye! That’s why ax throwing is becoming more popular since it’s not only fun, but gives people the opportunity to let go of stress in an outdoorsy way. Plus there are places to do it at night.
Just make sure you start out with some lighter axes first, otherwise it might be a little too much for first-time ax throwers — but there’s nothing wrong with starting out on smaller objects like balls before moving up to the real thing . But whatever you do try not to throw your back out! Even though that doesn’t sound romantic or anything — dating is about being yourself and letting go of all inhibitions. So let go of yours! It’s never safe to play around with something as dangerous as an ax if you’re feeling stressed .
